Most agencies still build lead lists the slow way: virtual assistants copying rows into spreadsheets, one business at a time. This walkthrough shows the DataMint workflow end to end - the same one our customers use to pull 10,000+ listings in a single afternoon.
Step 1: Pick a niche + city pair
Start narrow. “Dentists in London” beats “healthcare in the UK” every time: the Maps results list stays focused, and your first message can speak directly to the business type.
Search your niche + city on google.com/maps and scroll once - whatever loads is exactly what DataMint will see.
Step 2: Start the scrape
Open the DataMint side panel and hit Start Scrape. The engine auto-scrolls the results panel to load as many listings as possible, then opens each business card to read its full details:
- Business name, category, and full address
- Phone and website
- Star rating and review count
- Popular times, where the listing shows them
Rows land in your Data Table live, with an elapsed timer running in the panel.
Step 3: Verify while you scrape
This is where DataMint pulls ahead of every generic scraper. While the list builds:
- Run Email Verification (Reoon) so cold outreach never hits a dead inbox.
- Add an AI enrichment column - for example
#Website → find contact email- and let the agent reason per row. - Validate format and contact details before exporting.
Step 4: Export and start closing
Filter to rows with a valid email and enriched data, then export a clean CSV or push straight to Google Sheets. Your first 10,000-row, verified list is ready before your coffee gets cold.
The lesson: scraping was never the bottleneck - bounced emails and missing context were. Verify first, send second.
